MERMAIDS

 

I truly love, love, love mermaids ...maybe it's because they can swim and I cannot! For years I collected, designed and stitched mermaid costumes that hung on the back of my bathroom door thinking I could put one on and go swimming (in my tub). The mermaids I create are one-of-a-kind and of all Medias, large, medium, small, cloth, felt, clay they are embellished with beads shells, charms Driftwood and coral and all take on their own personalities. They can be hung or rest in a special place to always be watching over you and remind you of the peacefulness of the sea and of their never-ending adventures.
