CoCo Masks

My love of Hispanic art has brought me to create my Coco's. Over the years I have collected vintage coconut masks which are created in Mexico and now hard to find...... So!!!!....Came my take on them. Mine are much smaller all done by hand using cracked and cleaned coconuts ( lots of coconut cakes have come from doing this) dried, sanded, covered in air-dry clay, tiny cut square pieces of tissue paper, cardboard sculpted noses, hand cut paper and cardboard flowers,  watercolors,  acrylic paint, ink, drilled eyes and mouths and then finished with several layers of wax. Each piece has a wire on its back for hanging and YES a labor of love but so worth it! They are a wonderful addition to any mask collection.

We don’t have any products to show here right now.
